![]() ![]() I can not contribute - I am User Vulgaris, who really really hates MS, zero skills at coding. And attitude - be grateful for what is given - is wrong, I spent around 20 min, trying to install and use this soft with no results - basically, I should be grateful for something I can not use. ![]() I understand community thing, but I find this practice wrong, where One should have programming knowledge to use simple software - "his application is for RGB lighting.which has kinda become synonymous with frivolous features.". No one is expecting you to prioritize this over anything else. Or maybe you should complain to the manufacturers who neglected to provide support to begin with.Īlso.this application is for RGB lighting.which has kinda become synonymous with frivolous features. If you don't like something, maybe you can contribute instead of complaining. The least you can do is be grateful for their efforts. Individuals have taken it upon themselves to try to fill the gaps that the manufacturers of the product have left for Linux users. One needs some Java, some pip (whatever this is). I'd like to at the very least change it to a deep blue color and none of this rainbow stuff.Quoting: lectrode Quoting: Lcs006This is what I hate - One can not just install application and use it. I can see "aura effects" and "aura sync" controls but it does nothing for my lights because I only have the rgb fan and whatever lights up on motherboard as well as my patriot ram I think lights up My bios is ASUS B550M PLUS WIFI and fairly new motherboard. ![]() It is a bit confusing as to why either through my ASUS bio software or anything else I have installed they would all fail to provide me control of the lighting. I have read about connecting it to a usb port on motherboard? But I'm unsure what cable that would be as I believe I used the one already connected to the fan and hooked it up to the "RGB" HEADER on my motherboard which is clearly shown. I downloaded the wraith prism software which is supposed to help me control the lighting or rainbow effects but it doesn't detect it. ![]()
